Wow! I was very nervous about Thor. Being a lover of comics (Marvel, especially and Spider-Man, mostly), I was really skeptical of this movie after the trailers really didn't do much for me. But, I must say, the meat was in the characters, the pacing and the story of Thor. This was just simply a great movie!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is why Jon Favreau is the man. I don't know if he chose the cast or not, but the entire movie was exquisitely directed, written, character-driven, acted, hilarious, human, pretty much everything a movie should be. The portrayal from every actor (actress) was flawless. The action seens were amazing, special effects prestine. Plus its a superhero movie - probably the best of its genre yet.
In closing, go see it! You will be on the opposite spectrum from dissapointed - i guess that's reappointed?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
