Charming, heart warming and oh-so funny. Steve Carell is perfect as the failed criminal Gru. The minions are clever, rude and adorable.

Nothing original here (think BIg and 13 Going on 30) yet enjoyable. Zac Effron has great on screen charisma and good comedic timing. Some solid laughs. Careful with the kids - some content definitely not appropriate.
