Matrix Puzzle Solver

So went to this movie without seeing/paying attention to the previews. I have to tell you it was AWESOME. If you are like me you love to solve puzzles and enjoy a smart plot; however I am also a guy and need a lot of things blowing up too! So I decided this movie was like a solving a puzzle within the Matrix! IT kept you on the edge of your seat with VERY clever plot twists and yet blew me away with the Matrixesc type special effects that were AMAZING! This is a MUST SEE on the big screen...however I am already looking forward to the Blue Ray so I can watch it again!!!

African Cats Rocks!

What an amazing looks at life in Africa! I felt like I was right there with these majestic creature the entire movie. I thought Jackson did a great job in telling their story. One thing to be aware of, there are plenty of characters in the movie that don't make it. Might be a good idea to prep the little ones...just a thought. Overall, I say this one is worth seeing on the big screen...enjoy!

Best this Year

I can't remember the last time I saw a movie that was as captivating and relevant as "The Social Network". So rarely does the perfect storm come together with brilliant writing, perfect casting, tantalizing acting, and subject mater that is interwoven into 500 million people's lives. I was hanging on every word, every moment of the entire movie. I will never look at my FB page the same way again! This one has to go on your "gotta see" list!

Why So Crude???

Ok, maybe I am getting too old, but why? Why did this movie find it necessary to be sooo crude in sooo many different ways. You expect crude in movies like "The Hangover"...but not in this self labeled "must see chick-flick". Even my wife felt bad that I "took one for the team" on this one. We both love Drew Barrymore, but this movie literally sends you home depressed. Did I laugh, yes...sometimes. However, not enough, and certainly not enough to overshadow the crassness that this movie is. In my humble opinion, this movie would have been far better served to leave the awkward forced foulness out and just go for what it was (or at least should have been) ...a cheesy chick-flick, happy ending, leave with a smile on your face movie. Instead, I felt like I wasted time, like I needed a shower (and not in a good way), and that somehow life was a little less pleasant. I think this movie will be perfect for all of the females that enjoyed "The Hangover". Unfortunately for the makers of this movie, that is a pretty small demographic. Don't say I didn't warn you on this one...
No, I do not recommend this movie.

Great Entertainment!!!

Ok so I have read some of the reviews...and I will be the first to admit this movie will NOT be up for any awards. That being said, if you are going to a movie to be entertained (that is OK by the way:), you will LOVE this movie! Tom Cruise was the best he has been in years and there was great chemistry between Tom and Cameron (according to my wife who also loved the movie). I don't know why people can't just go to the movies and check out of reality for just a bit. When did we all get so serious??? Anyway, go check it out...you'll be glad you did!

Great Movie for Kids and Adults

My wife and I took our 5 year old son and niece to see this...all 4 of us thought it was great. The kids jumped a few times during some of the "scary" parts, but they both sat there and watched the entire movie (not bad for two 5 year olds!). This will be a great one to own some day.

The special effects in this movie have raised the standard for all future movies...it is beyond visually stunning...it is absolutely amazing and is definitely worth the price of admission!

Hilarious - Great Date Movie

This was a great movie that had us laughing out loud several times throughout the movie. There were also several "that did not just happen" moments which had my wife covering her mouth to keep from laughing too loud. We highly recommend this movie for married couples( leave the kids at home) for a GREAT date night movie!
