It was what I expected: NOT the book

From the moment I heard they were making Twilight a movie I knew they would screw it up! The first thing that drove me crazy: casting. When I heard Robert was going to be playing Edward, I was very unhappy. He definately didn't deliver! The emotions on his face were so off. He always looked like he was going to cry and during their kissing scene, he was cringing. My other concerns were that they skipped too many scenes and the dialogue was off. Everything was worded way better in the book. The way they had Edward saying things made him seem like a stalker.
Although there were many things that I absolutely hated, it was good for a movie. On the other hand, if you are a die-hard fanpire like i am, the movie will NEVER live up to the book.
