I feel like I got the Sucker Punch with this movie! After seeing and loving Watchmen I was expecting a movie of similar quality, well not the case with this movie. Visually yes it was quite good, but where's the intelligent writing, the dramatic tension and emotional impact? There was none at all in this picture. The action looked like a video game and was very detached. Any scenes where there should be emotion I really didn't feel any. This was not the actors fault, it was the lack of a good director. Don't waste your money of this film. Stay home and play a good video game and you'll have more fun that way!

I got to see this movie for free and it wasn't worth it for me! It's a pretty disturbing movie and it made me feel uncomfortable at times. It's about a 15 year old girl who lives with her alcoholic young mother and her younger sister. There's no boundaries in their household from the lack of parenting so it's anything goes. The Mom's new boyfriend moves in and the plot revolves around that complicated situation. In general I like foreign and indie films but this one just didn't do it for me. Some may get more out this one than I did. But I think overall most people won't like it much.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
