This was a beautiful story of living – living for some when their life is at its bleakest. Wonderfully scripted with humor this movie warms the heart as it shares a journey that hopefully enlightens one to rise to that occasion should their life dictate it.
Pros well paced, great story, great actors, humorous, heart warming
Yes, I recommend this movie.

The acting is suburb & the cinematography, costumes, and special effects are beautiful, truly indicative of how a fairy tale would be imagined. Even though you know the ending, it was intriguing to view the story presented this way. There were some liberties taken in the dialogue, but was fun & overall fitting for the period being presented. The dwarfs were a hoot, and the twist on their characters is really creative.
Pros great story, great actors

I found the movie very entertaining with a little bit of everything to offer with wit, humor, action, sci-fi, romance, old fashion yet futuristic - what more could you ask for? The CGI wasn't bad, the aliens were well done and actually they delivered a pretty good performance. Looking forward to a sequel.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A Good Time

Just returned from the movie preview. The movie was hilarious. There were many laugh out loud moments in the movie. I thought it was fresh and funny. They did a good job and I didn’t feel held captive to witness over the top raunchy and uncomfortable scenes which seem to plague movies that target this age group. Really enjoyed the flick and Channing Tatum is pretty easy on the eyes too.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

My husband and enjoyed this movie. Stellar cast with great performances with a good balance of romance and comedy - not as predictable as movies of late. We have been married for 22 yrs and found it to show a truer perspective in the trials of love and forgiveness and responsibility to one another in marriage - versus a lot of the, well honestly, the crap that we see on the screen now a days that do not show our younger generation a reality of situations.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Warm and Fuzzy

I read a lot of reviews that said the movie was predictable...true - you pretty much figure out the end by the trailer. But it is a warm and fuzzy ride watching it play out. The Ireland setting was beautiful ~ true eye candy. Both leads did a great job. And I would agree with other comments that Matthew Goode just didn't seem to fit this role - but it worked. Don't over think it; take a deep breath, go along for the ride and enjoy the view.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Just Plain Fun

Overall this movie was a lot of fun. Although I guess intended as a satire, the film truely exemplified the admiration of a true Star War's fan. A few scene's brought back memories and had us in tears with laughter.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
