My favorite movie ever looked lovely on the big screen! I just thought that a "high-def" movie would take up the entire screen.
Still, it was great to see it in the theater, and loved that the packed auditorium contained a wide variety of Oz fans, young and old!

Action packed from beginning to end, this "reboot" of the franchise was especially cool to see on the IMAX screen. As someone familiar with the series, I loved the way they brought the beloved characters together in a new, fresh way. The movie was done in such a way so that even if you know nothing about Star Trek, you aren't the least bit left out, while providing some fun "in-jokes" for the established fan.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

3D IMAX is so real, it's UNREAL!

The first movie we'd ever seen in 3D IMAX, Monsters vs Aliens was beyond incredible! The effect was so lifelike, at one point a character in the movie stood up, and my husband thought someone stood up in the theater! The film itself was cute, funny, and had a great voice-cast. Even though we were not the target audience for the film, we still highly enjoyed it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
