It's mind-boggling, reading some of the reviews..."leave the religion part out"??!! It's about FAITH! Anyone's faith, not just one in particular...did anyone notice all the books lined together at the end? This movie was made for EVERYONE, this is the point of the entire story....respect. We all have DIFFERENT needs and understandings....it was an excellent film! Denzel was perfect for the role! The characters portrayed our sad, selfish...ever faithful world. It was perfect...listen to the message.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Followed book and was so close to what I imagined when reading...great direction!!! Cast was excellent and I am not talking about heart throb stuff...I am 50! Looking forward to Eclipse!!!
