Fine maga-drama

Jolie gives her best performance since the underrated "Girl Interrupted" in this HEAVY, but very good drama, that shows that in an unjust world-there is good and justice as well.

The romance between Troy and Gabriella is great and innocent, however the film has unnecessary secnes of teasing and Ashley Tisdale's character is overdone. I recommend it for the romance.

A heartfelt winner

Dakota Fanning gives an all-time-great quality performance in this film about the horrors of racism and abuse, and the beauty of puppy love. The film even gets better as it goes along. One of the better movies of the year.

Great animated films have memorable characters and have humor that adults get as well. Space Chimps has neither quality, it is strictly for kids who like the saturday morning cartoons. Forgettable.

close to greatness

If not for a few too many things going on towards the end of the movie, this would be a five star gem. Heath Ledger gives one of the all-time great performances as the joker, the art direction is superb, and Christian Bale is the best Batman yet. What an experience.

fun fluff with terrific music

I love ABBA's music, Seyfried and Streep were terrific in their roles. However, Streep's obnoxious friends and some off-color references made this from a PG rated wonderful film to a pretty good PG 13 one. Try this film, you will have a joyous time.
