Can you spell O-S-C-A-R? Brilliant captivating, suspeseful and eery as only Scorsese can produce. DiCaprio performs outstandingly, but the support of Kingsley connects the talents of the entire cast. Then again, maybe I really din't see it and only imagined the film (sic).
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Remake, Retake of an Old Theme

Not unexpectedly, the acting is superior in this film. Hopkins once again shows his excellent talents, while Del Toro and Blunt blossom. The remake of an old theme is nicely done. The artistic cinemetography takes it to a terrific level... pay attention to the close-up of the character's eyes! I did find some of the effects a bit tacky but can't offer a solution for them: time lapse scenes of the "rising" moon; the Wolfman "howling". In some ways, these became annoying and a detractor to the creativeness of the film. All considered, a solid "B"... and the positioning for the sequel is well done.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Well done without insulting the TV Series, GET SMART provides lots of laffs. Worthy of a good time without much taxing of the cerebelum. Casting was well done, with each character well-played and NOT over-done.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
