while maybe not the most riviting story lines this criminal act that took place and therefore passed judgement without a trial reminds us too much of todays government. Bradley Manning, Guantanimo and the like . WE need more good films like this. top notch Acting, directing, set design, cinematography- fabulous.
I loved this movie even with earthquake and all I couldnt bring myself to leave the theatre. I was so shocked by the ending. I did not read the book so I had no idea what was going on . Some of th eearly shots and use of the camera were stunning. I dont want to spoil anything so this must be seen in a theatre not at Home. It was great!
I loved this movie. OK I loved Slumdog Millionaire too. But I loved the storytelling, I loved Brad Pitt, Ioved his love for New Orleans that comes through. I love that he loves black folks . that shines through. It made me cry. I loved they way they depicted old people. It was so refreshing. No body was on life support half dead. people lived and they died. I loved the sets, the design, the look of the movie over all was so wonderful, the character of the old buildings. All of the simple life about this film I loved. NO Cell phone scenes...how refreshing! Brad Pitt you are an awesome human being. And a wonderful actor!
Fresh film making, edgy awesome acting, real, no BS . this is well acted , great directing, wow what an interesting story. I want to take every I know to see this fabulous film. This should win an Oscar, but who cares if it doesn't . It still is one of the best films I have ever seen, EVER!
Sean Penn so embodies this character, I forgot Emile Hirsch was himself. Great screenplay, but what most important is that this crazy story be told. If Dan White was black or latin they would have killed him meaning "the corrupt police " or he would have done life in Prision. It shows what weird times the 70's were. I loved them...in spite of this fact. I highly recommend this film
