my favorite opera was marred by not only audio and visual interruptions but by the lack of light and clarity during the first and last acts. Scenes instead of being Zeffereli's brilliance came on much too muted. This has been true of the last two HD operas as well. Why do they have to be so dark and hurt my eyes????
Yes, I recommend this movie.

a not to be missed event. It is an incredibly wonderful experience for those who have loved opera, liked opera, or have never been to an opera. The projection of the singing combined with the visual ability to watch the acting left us wantiing more. Now can't wait for next year! Bravo!!!!
