The real story is disguised with the sex, but it is touching if you've ever known someone with a serious health problem.
My husband and I were touched by the inner struggles of the characters dealing with life altering issues. Mostly that was covered by the sex.
This is a movie with far more depth than some of the ratings seem to recognize
Yes, I recommend this movie.

We enjoyed this movie! It wasn't a blockbuster, and dragged in the beginning, but was well worth the ticket price.....
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A fascinating story!

A thought provoking film about ego, greed, and what matters. Contrary to the opinion of some, it was clear to me that the primary character had a quality the others totally lacked; clarity of vision. The others had ideas, but no vision to make them truly valuable. The settlement with the rowing brothers was totally unwarranted. They didn't have intellectual property. They had a vague idea that was meaningless till our primary character came along and transformed a small idea into an amazing vision with legs. Having worked with intellectual property, a good lawyer could have made his case. The young lady advising him took advantage of his naivete and lack of profit motive. He had a vision to bring to reality, and his instincts were right. This film is fascinating, but if you look closely, there is one college student with the talent, and a bunch of opportunists, hoping to ride his gravy train, which they did.
Sad. BTW, one comment said people over 60 wouldn't be interested in this. How arrogant! I am 70 and have watched technology develop from the beginnings of the computer. There are lots of us!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

When we walked into the theater, my husband said, "See, I told you there wouldn't be any guys", but as we looked, maybe 10% of the theater was nice guys. However, as the movie progressed, my husband was drawn in as much as I, and wound up saying he'd enjoy seeing it again sometime.
This is a really good film, not the best ever, but really good! Characters are believable!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

An important demonstration of parental devotion!

I can't imagine anyone not appreciating this film. The story is one of the desperation a parent feels when they are helpless to help their children. My husband and I felt this was one of the more meaningful films we'd seen in a long while!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
