A bit disappointed

I did see this in 3D, but might as well have not spent the extra money for the tickets.. not much was coming out of the screen..
I was disappointed with the story, this movie is not at all like the original, other than the basis for the story overall... new characters were added and a few were taken away.
I thought the dialogue was not very well scripted...
It's just my opinion though..!

I did like the action, and who doesn't like Sam Worthington???
If you like fantasy/sci fi, then go ahead and see it.. if that's not your thing, wait til it comes out on DVD!

You have to see this IMAX 3D..!! You won't regret the experience! I do have to say, if you get nauseous easy, don't sit too close... =)
Although it is a story line that has been sort of repeated.. good vs. evil.. they put a new twist on it that makes this movie irresistible!
The CGI is closest to flawless as I've seen without it being over-cartoonish... I liked this movie a LOT!!

I haven't been to a "scary" movie in a while.. The dialogue and some events could have been improved I think... but it did do a good job of making my heart pound.. wasn't sure when something was going to jump out at me!
But perhaps the popcorn butter didn't help.. made me nauseous.. haha!
The ending was kind of abrupt and a little predictable....
If you're a scary movie junky then, go see it.. otherwise, wait to rent it....!

OH... MAI GAWD!!

Best movie I've seen in a lonnng time!! Sooo intelligently written, not too predictable.. keeps you on the edge of your seat! You get attached to the characters so easily!! Thank You Tarantino for sharing your genius with us!!!!
On a side note... I can't stress how angry and just outright stupefied I am at people who bring their small children to movies like this!! There was a lady in my theater with about 4 small children, all under 10. I beg you, please don't take children to movies that involve, well, you'll see if you watch this movie!! The kids were constantly walking around and talking. Super distracting and so wrong for the kids’ fragile psyches!!

I have to agree with other reviewers, there are some rapid camera movements that may cause people some discomfort.. But overall, this was a very well done movie!! And the CGI was absolutely seamless!! It really makes you believe that at some point in South Africa there was a colony of stranded aliens!! If sci-fi is your thing.. go see this movie!!

We all know that the writing isn't the best.. But the action and the CGI...!!! Insane! I will definitely agree, this is not for little ones... I don't understand why parents take their little kids to these kinds of movies!! It's a bad distraction for movie goers when the kids are runnin around and yelling out at the screen... and I can't imagine it's good for their little brains!! But enough of that...
If you liked the first one, you will love the second one!!

They did such a good job with this movie! They brought in a lot of the same mannerisms as the future/past Star Trek characters!!! And the graphics!! Oh man!!! All I have to say is, if you like action, suspense.. cool graphics.. JJ Abrams.. Star Trek... you should go see this movie!!

I have to admit, I am not totally familiar with the Watchmen comics.. but I LOVE this stuff anyway! It's awesomely cool strangeness.. if that makes any sense..!?
And, parents, this is a TRUE R rated film.. don't effing take your little kids to see it!!!

Darkness throughout...

I was happy to see the story behind Lucian and Sonja. The setting was so dark throughout the whole movie! I don't know how else that part of the world, at that time, could have been portrayed though... Wish the dialogue was a bit more...interesting. Overall I liked the movie.

I didn't know what to expect when I saw the ads for this movie. I was pleasantly suprised!!! One of the best movies I've seen in a very long time! I highly recommend it!!
