To watch this movie/documentary makes MJ's death even more tragic - what an utter waste of creative genius. His talent, and his total understanding of the business he was in, provides an amazing insight into the man himself. What a tragic loss to the world.
We all know these people, or they are like us... I found it little scary based on that alone, since I left the theater wondering about my own relationship and it's sustainability! However, the movie was a great advertisement for Baltimore, even if the shooting wasn't on location, and it was a great cast. I didn't realise Kris Kristofferson was still acting!
... is a lonely job. Personified in this movie, Ron Howard's direction - yet again - is masterful. Both roles of both Principal actors deserve applause, and as suggested at the end of the movie - both men were tenacious, determined, stubborn and yet both showed a strong human compassion and will to survive. Hard to know which one to feel sorry for!
