Columbia, buy a tripod

Movie was OK overall. Good animation and Matte paintings. The shaky camera work was giving me a headache. I wanted to offer them my tripod throughout the movie thinking maybe it could help with the overly shaky camera. Too much background on the soldiers and not enough info on the invaders.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Alice Back Again

I went to see this thinking it was the traditional story that has already been remade about 25 times, not knowing this was new story based on Alice returning to Wonderland as a 19-year old and becoming a great champion. Johnny Depp looks pretty good as a Hatter, but the personality and dialogue of the Hatter does not seem to fit the character as I know him from Lewis Carol's writing.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

This was a very good movie. Visually a masterpiece of colors and cinematagrophy. The story however lacks in being cutting edge or original. It is a visual work of art set to the
recycled story of cowboys and indians, the early settlers of America killing the native people. Ferngully meets Star Wars meets Plymouth Rock. I would definately recommend you see it, just dont expect the story to blow you away like the visuals.
