The movie is really for older teens and adults. If you fall into that group, chances are high you will love this movie. But, this is NOT a movie for kids. The animation is superb, and thus comes the problem with younger viewers. This movie is very violent, and some younger kids may be put off by it (actually their parents may be put off by this). If the same movie were made with real actors, it would border on a PG13 to R rating. So, be careful and enjoy a very entertaining movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Missing some basics

The first half of the movie was cute, but not much more. The second half was just about all action. Too much at some times. Mostly, the writers stayed within the "Green Hornet mythology". Maybe it's because of my age, and following the Green Hornet on the radio, but I wasn't able to pick out the bad guy. Overall a good movie. I just wish the movie writers would stick to the serious part of the legends, and quit trying to make super heroes comedians.
Great, no doubt. It needed a more memorable score (where was John Williams?). See only in 3-D and IMax. Lacked a "Wow" factor, such as the lead-in from Star Wars and the first dinosaur in Jurassic Park. But, overall, anyone over 13 who likes movies should see this one. It is the most spectacular movie of the year.
