Jacob was a terrible actor and the other main characters were simply alright. It definitely would appeal to young girls. Both my husband and I read the book and of course as usual the books much better. I will say they stayed somewhat close to the book so that was good. The final scenes in Italy were the best so it left you feeling good at the end of the movie. Some of the acting was a bit cheesy and over the top. Overall not the worst movie but by no means great.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
