I'm always impressed when a movie that has a long run-time manages to keep me interested for the whole time! I never once thought about how long into it we were or anything like that. It moved along quickly, but not at a maddening pace that raises your blood pressure. Heath Ledger is such an amazing incarnation of the Joker. He made him realistic, which is substantially creepy. While some parts are particularly over-the-top, we must remember that it's a comic book story. Regular physics doesn't apply and so you must just laugh and say, "That'd be cool if you could really do that!"
