I wanted a movie my Mom would enjoy and it fit the bill perfectly. She loved it and wants to see the play when she's in Vegas. Me... I love musicals and enjoyed the story line, the songs and singing were scattered between being OK to good. There were a couple of spots in the movie where it seemed to drag. I wouldn't want to see again and it will not become part of my DVD collection but I am not disappointed that I saw the picture.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
