As a Professional Social Worker, I awaited the performance by Mariah Carey who portrays a social worker in the film. From the very beginning I was on the edge of my seat.
This young lady playing Precious, she is going places, and if anyone thought she was just average, she is way more than that! My hat is off to her.
Thanks Oprah and TP for bringing life to a situation that remains in the shadows’ of abuse. I think this will cause more women to confront the Precious’ in their lives.
It's excellent, don't sleep on seeing this in the theaters.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

As with all shows thus far, Tyler did not waste time vreating another master piece. The use of the characters in this film was great. Taraji P. girl you are on it "dog gonnit".
Marvin Winnan's scene was also great. I saw him on the TP show along with Gladys Knight. They have not lost a thing. TP You use stars that transcend time, their performances were top notch.
