This movie nailed all the best of Original Series Trek, and kept things moving along so well I never noticed it was 2 hours plus. Lots of humor, pathos, great character introductions and interactions, all driven by a very clever plot. And did I mention action? Plenty of break-neck action sequences, top-notch special effects, and a fabulous new-old Enterprise. Plus, the obligatory short and sweek Kirk-makes-out scene, only thing missing is the shot where he pulls his boots back on! All in all a starship-load of fun.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
