The movie was well put together. Liam Neisson was very good as usual. The story was a little predictable but overall attention grabbing. Jumped a few times out of my seat but those kind of moments were understandable. A little gorey at times too. You just have to like this kind of movie in order to like this one.
I love John LeCarre books but find them much more exciting than this movie. There were a lot of characters but you never got to know any of them. The story was complicated and there was no real exciting climax. Too slow for me.
Making the character of the Green Hornet such a jerk was really stupid. The acting was only so-so and the 3-D was wasted on this movie. I would not reccommend this movie especially paying the price for 3-D IMAX.
There was certainly some unnecessary sex scenes but the overall movie was very good thanks to George Clooney. You certainly felt the distrust in the movie but it lacked a little in excitement.. It was pretty much a typical foreign made film.
Everyone in this movie was perfect for the part. The story was so touching it should be an inspiration to us all. The fact that it's true is just amazing. The entire audience laughed together, applauded together and in some cases probably teared up together. This was one of the best movies out there that doesn't rely on special effects to sell it.
I thought this was going to be confusing for a 9 year old, but it turned out not to be. Both 9 and 11 year old enjoyed it. At least it was something that wasn't animated and it was pretty entertaining.
