Good movie w/ great performance

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie but the ending is abrupt. It appears as if the producer ran out of money so they shortened the move. Christian Bale's performance warrants and Academy Award.

Fun movie with no actual shots of the performers or of the concert grounds while people are there listening to the music. The psychedelic scene goes on a little too long and the lead character's awakening and relationship do not seem germane to the movie.
I was at the Aquarian Festival in 1969 and this movie does capture the spirit of the event.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Excellent movie. Lots of action. The acting by Heath Ledger and Christian Bale is excellent. The Joker as played by Ledger is complexe. The special effects are awesome.
