Romain continues to fascinate and fulfill in each performance. And what icing on the cake to see him with the ageless Catherine Deneuve who makes every word and movement look so effortless. They're a dream when together. Less 'edge of your seat' than I expected but totally engaging and Duris is thrilling to watch. Beautifully photographed.

With a plot as predictable as a music video but with knockout singing and dancing and with Christina making her screen debut and tearing it up in each production number? With Cher as irresistible as ever? And with Tucci's asides in a gem performance? Why WOULDN'T you want to see this?? GO!!

ignore the trailer which makes this look like some disney drivel. if you're looking for a film with a rich script and characters and polished engaging acting, go see this. it's wonderful to see deneuve's graceful and generous performance, though it's not her vehicle. the ensemble is terrific. what a striking and transporting contrast to the usual american fare.

This is such a cute and very,very sweet flick. The two leads are disarming and such artists. China is amazing! I've never heard of her, being the ignorant American, but I'd love to see more. It's a movie with a heart. Don't miss it.
