Great Story Poor Filmmaking

I have to agree with the reviewers on this one. Pretty horrible movie. The acting was over done, the script was melodramatic, the characters were stereotypical. (The communist student, the rabbi etc.) The women, after living out in the woods for years,looked like they just came out of a health Spa.
Anyway, the story of the Bieleski Brothers is magnificent. Unfortunately, Hollywood messed it up.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
