the acting is great, as a movie it is good art. however, the theme is twisted: every one who has anything in India is corrupt and bad, and the way the poor homeless child eventually makes it either: 1. become a prostitute, 2. become a hitman 3. become a multimillionaire by winning a TV show. it would be good to show the story of a family actually rising from poverty in a more realistic as well as wholesome way. i know it happens. this wold be a little more uplifting. this movie is tailored to cater to liberal guilt.
This movie is about having faith in yourself. The moral tale is presented in a funny and interesting way, great for kids, but not at all boring for adults. A real family movie ie: no gratuitous violence or cheezy humor. highly recommended.
