More than I expected

Ok to be honest I didn't have high hopes for this one I am a huge fan of the X-Men movies and comic books. I didn't think they could make this many movies and still keep them up to par. Granted "X-Men: The Last Stand" was not the best and it is what made me loose faith. However my Faith has officially been restored. This movie was defiantly back up to the previous standard. The only thing I am on the fence about is the fact that the very first scene is recycled from the first movie, as in it is the exact scene used over again. But that is not necessarily a bad thing I'm just not sure how I feel about it. Other than that I loved this movie. Lots of action and humor. And the plot line is great. If you are a Hardcore comic fan I will warn you they did change some things but any real hardcore comic fan knows that's just the nature of the beast.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Just what I expected

This movie never claimed to be anything more than a ton of explosions and people getting shot. Anyone going into this movie expecting to see a James Bond like movie is in for some serious disappointment. I mean really if you saw ANY of the commercials you know it's about hit men, who are not the most upstanding people in the world. Granted most of the people in the film that get killed actually deserve it however they are still HIT MEN so don't expect a ton of moral lessons. Anyway (sorry for the rant) the acting was excellent, as I would expect nothing less from that cast, and the stunts and special effects weren't over the top. A small part of me wishes that the end was a little different, but just a small part. Overall I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of big explosions and non stop action without an over abundance of plot.
