I'm chomping at the bit for Part II!!

I have really enjoyed the HP movies. Yes, yes, the books are better and die-hard book fans are gonna nit-pick on what's in and what's out, but really- let's enjoy what we've got here. And what we've got here is a good one.
There's some great humor in this; it has to since we're dealing with some Dark magic here- Voldy's taken over and our trio's on the run. The special effects are always good, but the story/plot line is what really keeps me coming back to this world again and again. The Harry/Hermione/Ron dynamic really comes into its own here- the scene of the fight between Ron and Harry shines as well as the aftermath. The lsword/locket scene actually had me cringing- for Ron's obvious dispair magnified by the evil inside. The Godric's Hollow scenes had me chewing my fingernails waiting for the blow.
All in all, the heart of Harry's world is still here. The climax of the movie isn't in the fight sequence, it's really the scene afterward that pulled my heartstring (you book readers KNOW what scene I mean). And the end left SO much unfinished- I actually yelled "WHAT?!" at the movie screen! Can't wait for Part II!
