I have never watched the original Star Trek series, but I am vaguely familiar with the characters-- who isn't!? Not being a die hard fan, I have to say I got pretty excited about the movie. It did not disappoint! I was never bored (which often happens), and of course there was the requisite romance, and even some humor. We all clapped in the movie theater when it was over. I would recommend it to everyone and might even go see it again!
