Prometheus (the ship) traveling through space is the highlight of the movie in IMAX 3D. Unfortunately that's about 10 minutes. Noomi Rapace was the stand-out actress. The story is good, but there are lots of unanswered questions (some I understand due to scenes that will be on the DVD). Of course we're all used to stories with unanswered questions these days...
This is not the intense, edge-of-the-seat, waiting-to-be-pounced-on terror of the original Alien, but there was a guy in our theater with four small children...NOT a good idea!
Prometheus does set the stage pretty well for the original Alien film.
