This was a charming if somewhat dull installment in the Harry Potter franchise. I haven't read the book but I gathered from audience members around me that it leaves out some important parts. But I have no idea how they could fit any more in - it's overweight to the point of obesity and predictable as a stoplight. Considering I didn't know the story to begin with, that's sad. The climactic confrontation at the end is a disappointment and everyone just seems to be going through the motions on the money machine.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
