I had lots of issues with the first movie but this one great, lots of action and excitement not to mention all the "money" shots like Jacob taking his shirt off. The acting is marginally better (Kristen really needs to stop the tortured blinking thing, ugghh) in this one but the makeup still leaves a lot to be desired. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and will probably see it again.
Use the restroom before the movie starts, this one has so many unexpected funny moments that you don't want to miss any. It was excellent, I'll probably see it again.
This was a fun movie with lots of action, the comedy was a little dry. The Rock is always fun to watch. I liked the subtleties witth the sheriff and the waitress being the original Tony and Tia at Stony Mountain. It was entertaining and made for an enjoyable afternoon with my guys.
I thought that the director could have done a much better job with this. It had nothing to do with the actors looks or ability, I just got the sense throughout that the kids just didn't know how to convey the feelings (definitely all about the direction). You shouldn't have to read a book to "get it" in a movie. The characters were supposed to "blend in" with the humans, instead the bright red lipstick and white powder stood out so bad that all the audience could do was laugh, no one in their right mind would hire a doctor if he looked like Carlisle.Poor Rob, instead of looking in pain or "thirsty" he looked like he was having a spasm, the audience really laughed at the initial classroom scene. I'm so sad. :(
I went on opening day with my family. We all were really looking forward to the release and the anticipation did not leave us disappointed. I thought that the action was true Indiana Jones fashion and really great fun. The movie brought back old friends and gave us some new ones. Wasn't more that I could ask for. The interplay between Indy and Mutt is really fun but between Indy and Marion was cute but kind of corny. I wanted to smack him and tell him to quit getting caught up in the moment because he kept helping the bad guys, maybe it was an old guy moment. The plot pretty much sets things up for future movies, I think Shia LeBeouf will make a great successor for Indiana. It was really a lot of fun and I can't wait to see it again.
