Worth The Wait

I have seen Star Trek in all it's incarnations and have been disappointed by the last three big screen offerings. I was excited to see what J. J. Abrams could do to this aging icon. All I can say is, Mr. Abrams you are a genius! This film takes characters that I have loved for more than 30 years and gave them new energy, motivations and relevance.
The action sequences are eye-popping, both those involving star ships and those of a more personal one-on-one nature. I love a good action flick, this has all of that and more.
You don't have to be steeped in the lore of Star Trek to enjoy the wild exciting ride on this Enterprise.
