Knowing that movies usually fall short of good reads, I didn't have high expectations for Twilight. It was good and I was pleasantly surprised. However, alot of important things that happened in the book were left out of the movie, which I thought was sad and left this really superficial in my opinion. Edward doesn't even recite his lines on why Twilight is his favorite. I liked Charlie, he save the comic relief. Pattinson did ok as Edward, he grows on you. Bella was too one dimensional - She never changed faces. Didn't get enough into the Cullen family . Hated Jacob - wrong casting!! It was way too streamlined and not alot of depth. Overall, it's ok - hopefully in a future one the acting will get better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
