I have read all the books,and am in love with this series. I was really concerned that they would make this movie focus more on the "love story" that is in the books. I am happy to report that is not the case. There are changes from the book to make it easier to follow on film,but the changes flowed well and did not change the purpose and over all message of the books. We are given a new perspective as we get to see the Capital more,and the behind the scenes workings of the games themselves. I was very impressed with this movie. All the acting was top notch. I would recommend this movie to all who have read and not read the books. Great Job. I look forward to the two remaining movies. Keep up the good work. :)
