If I had taken Michael Medved's advice I wouldn't have gone to see this delightful film. If you enjoyed 'Gladiator' or 'Braveheart', you'll enjoy this version of 'Robin Hood'. A very worthy effort by all.

If you like hippies, and fantasize about hippies in the U.S. Army, then you'll find this film entertaining. One scene in particular is offensive, especially one day after the massacre at Fort Hood (no spoilers). Better to wait for the video.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

There are too many story inconsistencies to mention, and Brad Pitt somnabulates through every scene. Cate Blanchett gives her usual outstanding performance. On the whole, I recommend saving your money and watching 'Forrest Gump' (which this movie emulates) on dvd.
