This movie wasn't good. I did read the book and found it fairly entertaining. This movie, on the other hand, has no sense of time and transitions and reason for particular events. Its laughable at points how bad this films directing and writing are. Its as if Rosenberg took the important stuff from the book and smashed it together without worrying about how it would affect the general flow of the film. Good acting and some descent moments save it from being completely awful.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
