Wonderful surprise.

This movie was fantastic. I imagine many people, including myself, are familiar with Jeremy Brett's A&E portrayal of Holmes, which he did so well. Not being familiar with the books, I cannot say it was true to the original character, but in that portrayal you can see the genius of Holmes in a rather subtle way. So, when I first saw the trailer for this movie, I though "Eh... Sherlock Holmes as an action hero... like Downey, Jr. as Iron Man?" But it was awesome! I was so pleasantly surprised. The movie/story/acting/sets - all incredibly well done. I loved it and definitely think it's worth a look.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
