Much Visuals, No substance

While it was visually good, the blend between live action and animation didn't work for me, it actually looked cartoonish.
It had a really poor script, bland characters, predictable story. There was no substance, just style and visuals, very disappointing. I couldn't find anything wonder-ful in the story, it was just generic!. WE'RE TALKING ABOUT WONDERLAND, THE PLACE WHERE WHAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN, HAPPENS. There was so much material that could have been used, but Tim Burton blew it.
I had expected much from the director of such gems as Bettlejuice and Edward Scissorhands. but then again, he also directed Planet of the Apes and Charlie & the Chocolate F.
It was just boring and forgettable.
