Very entertaining, but a bit slow in the middle. Had the same issue with the book. Better at the beginning and the end. Good setup for Part 2.

Very pretty visuals, but extremely predictable plot and cliched characters. I was amazed at how much I could predict was going to happen. Too long. Rehashes too many other movies. The 3D effect was very cool, though.

The guys are as funny as ever, Jonathon Coulton adds some nice musical zest, and the movie is just terrible, terrible, terrible... which means it's perfect for the Rifftrax treatment! So glad we got to go!

Great smart, funny, amazing summer blockbuster movie. Honors the history and canon of the franchise whilst dealing with it in its own way. Highly recommended even for non-Trek fans!

Very good dog movie

Very strong story, surprisingly good acting from the leads, a bit weak towards the middle when it concentrates less on Marley and more on Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston. Hard to watch the ending especially if you've ever owned a dog (or even a cat). I wouldn't recommend it to children under 8 or 9, again especially if there's a dog or cat in the family.
