Marvelous addaptation, well cast. While there are some discrepancies re. canon most are covered by the premise and none interfered with my enjoyment of the movie. Some strict adherents to tradition may miss having a "Doctor! the DNA is reversing itself!" moment at the end, but hey! That's what sequels are for.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
