Has the adult film-going audience been dumbed down this much?
Using the gross-out high school "comedy" formula and aging the characters 15 years does not an adult film make. Nor does it make potty humor any funny either.
I went to see this because I'm a fan of Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms. Can't believe they even read the script before signing on the dotted line for this mean-spirited, homophobic and misogynistic misfire.
Yes I know Rolling Stone and other critics gave this high marks, but it makes me think payola has moved from the music biz to the film industry.
First film i've ever walked out of. After 15 minutes, it continued to be a total waste of time and money. I got my money back, but time is not refundable.
...
No, I do not recommend this movie.
