I enjoyed this movie, my husband did not. I enjoyed the acting and the plot. The cinamatography was too 1970 with the speeding up and fast forward - great headache inducer. The movie did not need this and would be much better without it.
Seth Rogen, you can keep him. He added nothing to the movie except stupidity. Jay Chou, however, was quite entertaining and I would like to see him in another movie. The Green Hornet would have done better had it been played straight. It was No. 1 at the box office last week, but I think word of mouth will send it to DVD pretty quickly. Bottom line - save your money.
Jeff Bridges speech was at times difficult to understand, but there is not one other negative comment to make. I don't normally watch westerns, but this was absolutely fantastic. Everyone deserves an award!
This movie has 2 of my favorite actresses, Betty White and Jamie Lee Curtis, but both were under used in this movie. This movie was rarely funny, slow moving, and just pretty boring.
Well acted, well directed. The expected ending had a little twist, and let's face it, it was the ending I was routing for. I didn't know Ben Affleck had it in him. You should not miss this one.
The biggest surprise, Jackie Chan can act! I went to this movie not expecting much because I loved the original. I was pleasantly surprised. The cinematography is spectacular. Jaden Smith, what can you say. A lot of talent packed into that young man. This move is a must see! It is definitely not a "cheesy remake"!
Alec Baldwin gets better with age! Steve Martin needs to UNDO his facelift... Meryl Streep is fantasic! All the actors were superb! Best Movie we have seen in a long time!
Darn if this one didn't fool me. I have not been to a movie in years where I didn't have the end figured out 5 minutes into the movie (and yes, that includes Sixth Sense).
I was riveted to my seat the entire movie. One of the best movies of the year.
