One word... Disappointing. I loved the first two Alien movies but this one really didn't sort anything out for me. I didn't expect the Alien to appear in the movie but this one was a little confusing for me. Hopefully the sequel will be better but for me this one disappointed.

I went into this movie with high hopes, just the fact that the movie had Christian Bale in it was reason enough. Needless to say I was very disappointed. The acting, at times, was corny. The effects sometimes looked as if they were standing in front of a green screen and I am not quite sure the plot was the greatest. I have now put my hopes for the summer blockbuster in the hands of Transformers and Public Enemies.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

It just didn't grab me

I didn't think this movie was all that bad, it just didn't pull me in like I thought it would. I thought some of the special effects were not as good as they could have been. I expected so much more and felt a little let down. If you are a fan of the X-Men series you probably will enjoy it otherwise just wait for the DVD.
