Jim Carrey was good as Scrooge and the ghosts. But, that's about it. However, this is not a movie for little kids.The story is really not a Christmas film. It doesn't give the spirit of Christmas. It followed Dickens book but ,dragged the carriage scenes. It was too dark for me.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
