Agree with so many others on this website. I saw the movie and then became addicted - mainly to Edward! After I saw the movie I had to go out and read the books. The movie stays true to the book in general but does miss out several things. Nevertheless, I still love the movie in its own right and have seen 3 times so far... Robert Pattinson does a great job of portraying Edward - makes my heart race! The more I watch it, the more I think they did a great job - there are many subtleties to watch out for. Can't wait for the DVD to come out and see all the extras, as well as the next installment, New Moon, to come out in theaters. The soundtrack and score are also fantastic.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This was the best movie I have seen in 2008. Everything is great - the cinematography, the soundtrack, the storyline. It's funny, sad, joyful... It's fantastic - I can't wait to see it again. It should certainly win some Academy Awards.
