Wow, this was an awesome film. The cast was fabulous, and the story is just off the charts. The most creative science fiction films I've seen since the Matrix. Just go see it.

This creative adaption of the story of Merlin is worth seeing. Well written and well delivered, the cast and characters really carry this movie beyond good to truly enjoyable. As fantasy flicks go, the Sorcerer's Apprentice is clever and creative, making good use of special effects and an imaginative portrayal of the arcane and magical. It's a great Disney production for the whole family.

The Last Airbender should be the LAST movie they let Shyamalan make. It's a retched mess of a film characterized by the notably poor adaptation of a great cartoon, an awful script (if you can call it a script), and NO CHARACTER development at all. How he could take such a great story and turn it into such crap is beyond me. I serious think they wrote this one in crayon, and edited to ensure that no plot line could not possible develop. I love the Avatar TV series, and Nickelodeon should be ashamed for letting this thing ever make it into theaters. If you're thinking of seeing it, just burn your money instead... you will find it much more rewarding.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
