Overall a decent movie. The director has thought this movie at very well as far as tieing different age goups and multiple stories together. A little sappy, however a great date night movie.

Very Enlightening

The Soloist was a great movie which sadly shows the state of poverty and mental illness in much of the country. However, it was wonderful to see how the writings of one man can improve the lives of others. It also addresses how politicians much like dogs, "live in the now" and will do what is ever in their best interest at the moment.
Although this movie is somewhat depressing, I would highly recommend seeing it!
