Great effects, standard story

Yes, the effects were amazing, however the story was predictible and the dialog contrived. James Cameron is an amazing inovator and a great director but he should leave the writing to others. (As an aside I believe this is also true of George Lucas.) Also I believe that 3-D movies such as this and Alice in Wonderland should have motion sickness warnings for the sensitive. I have at least two friends who would not have enjoyed either of these movies.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
